We started writing today’s blog post like any other. The plan was to whip up a little piece about coffee — how the world might be saved if everyone just drank enough espresso, cappuccino, or even just plain filter coffee or cocoa. Tea is good too. Especially herbal tea on a freezing slush morning.
But back to the point — right after the first paragraph, something weird started happening.
There was a strange shadow on the edge of the page. At first we thought it was just a dumb background image. But no. It started to grow. Like the paper was tearing — right there on the screen. And then it appeared:
From the tear, a strange message emerged…
if (truth !== hidden) { system.crash(); } // shhh.. be ware..
At first, we had to double-check whether someone had just dropped an early April Fool’s joke. But this was no prank. This was… an ancient programming invocation.
We still don’t know who left it. But if anyone ever asks why this blog occasionally freezes or sends emails to Mars — well, maybe, just maybe, it has something to do with these strange events.
